Does anyone have…

…a couple hundred thousand dollars to spare?  I’ve found my dream house.

I’m going to make an appointment to look at it.  You can’t win the lottery if you don’t play, right?

Just sitting here, listening to the neighborhood fire off illegal fireworks.  It happens every year.  I just hope they calm down soon.

We went with the PT Cruiser club today to be in a 4th of July parade and car show.  It was a long, hot day, but we were with good friends.  That’s always fun.  Mr. Man and I tried out our new fold-out lounge chairs.  Propped those babies up under the tree, and proceed to watch people.  Went to eat after, then home where I baked up a batch of Granny’s sugar cookies for the car club event tomorrow afternoon.  Christmas cookies…we’re using a Christmas in July theme.

But I have to work both jobs tomorrow before I get to do that. *sigh.* Boo Hoo.  I’ll get over it, I’m sure.

My very dear friend, Thumper, has been having a very bad time lately, and I would like to ask for prayers on her behalf.  Her soul and heart have taken a beating this past month. There have been 4–FOUR– deaths in her family.  One a 6th month old baby belonging to a family member, another is a cousin, last Thursday, her Momma died from as massive stroke, and yesterday, her husband’s grandmother passed. The last three have happened IN THE PAST TWO WEEKS.   Thumper is feeling besieged and battered, and is at a very low point, feelinglike death is surrounding her.  I know there is nothing I can do to help, besides listen.  Be there.  The same as she was for me when Papa, Daddy and Granny died.  Thumper has a tender heart, and a gentle spirit, and I can’t help but feel she is floundering in this sea of chaos.

Please, please say a prayer for her.  Thanks in advance.
